How on earth do I eat way less than my recommended intake and still gain weight?
Obvious answer would be that I must eat more, but im not lying to myself, and im weighing everything before I eat it.

Must be the meds messing up my system then, sigh....

Don't worry, I can put on 2lbs overnight from lack or exercise, lack of sleep, retaining water? Who knows; but, it doesn't matter so much what the scales tell me as long as I know I am eating healthier, feel better, feel fitter and losing size. I had a look at your diary and your diet is balanced and appears healthy and yet lacking in calories. Because you don't want your body to go into 'fasting mode' and store fat/water you will need to eat more; whether that is not skipping meals, adding snacks, or having bigger meals (adding a soup, salad, or dessert of yogurt & seeds/nuts) - others will be more knowledgeable than I and add some exercise too. You will also know how you feel yourself - this week we have been having a heatwave here and my food would have been naturally coming in at 1200kcals (too hot to eat :-) ) but I also felt that was too little for me (244lbs) and I aimed for 1500kcals (when I would normally aim for 1800). We can't control everything; but, we can do our best to keep doing our best - good luck.

Thanks for your response :) Maybe that is whats happening, my body is going into fasting mode because I eat less and less calories trying to loose weight, and thus slowing down the weightloss. It's incredibly hot here aswell so I have the same problem as you with the loss of appetite :) I will try to ensure I get more calories and see if that can help get things moving again. Again, thx for your response, It really gave me a boost to keep at this :) And good luck to you too :)
