Chris1979's Journal, 07 October 2010

Good morning! This is my last day of work this week YAY. Our original plan was to just veg out at home (Salem's off tomorrow too) but with his sis in law in the hospital plans have changed. We are picking up Izzy (3) and Noah (18 months) tomorrow morning and heading to Johnson's Farm for all of the fall festivities. I like this idea because we will be walking around and getting exercise and fresh air. We will take the kids on a hayride, apple picking, and pumpkin picking! Probably get some warm cider too. I am really excited to go do this with them!!!

Betty was actually released last night but her husband is sick so she couldn't go home to their house. She's at her parents. She's still weak and all puffed up from the medicine... turned out she had kidney stones poor thing! So I think it will be good for us to take the kids tomorrow and let her continue to rest and take it easy.

Thanks for all the comments on my journal yesterday! Food for thought.

Gratitude:
1) Day off tomorrow
2) NYC on Saturday
3) NO HITTER LAST NIGHT GO PHILLIES!!!

Have a nice Thursday friends! :)

No hitter is right!! I love pitching!! Only thing I love more is a well caught game and it was a masterpiece! The flat bats after Volquez left worry me a bit but eh pitching wins in the playoffs. But wow. A pitch from a perfect game. Wow.

It sounds like you will have a lovely weekend with the kids. I miss that my kids are too old to do those things. Your sil is in my thoughts. I hope she gets better quickly. Enjoy New York City....you lucky girl. Hve a ball there!!

Sounds like your going to have fun tomorrow. I love doing those things - they are having a free "spooktacular" next weekend near me, so I plan on bringing the girls. Hay rides, snacks... and if it doesn't look good, the mall is right down the street! LOL Have fun - and try and steer clear of the cider donuts!!!

Wow, you're such a good sister in law. I'm sure that will definitely help a lot, and the kids will enjoy it. My son is really into "pumpins" this year and I'd love to take him pumpkin picking. Enjoy! Supposed to be a beautiful day.
