No walking for exercise yesterday but I did mow the front lawn. I had planned on doing everything, front and back, but the rain came up and I had to abort the mission.

Today, I walked 3.0 miles, part of it with DH and the doggies.

I had a nice clothing surprise yesterday. I found a bag of 3 new bras that I had purchased well over a year ago in a smaller size and they fit perfectly now. I had actually purchased that size by mistake, but by the time I was ready to wear them and discovered my error, it was past the return time limit. So I just tucked them away, hoping that I could wear them at some time in the future.

Another clothing discovery: When I was selecting a sweater to wear for our church directory photo, I brought out a favorite sweater that I haven't worn in quite awhile, since it's never really that cold here. Well....let me tell you, it now looks like someone else's sweater! I typically wear things bigger and loose, but this was beyond even that. There was no way I could use this for the photo. So, off I went to my closet full of "too small" clothing to see what I could find. Sure, most of the items are still too small but I was surprised that I could actually fit into some of the more tailored suit jackets I kept from years back. Some made me look like a sausage, but there were 1 or 2 that could actually be worn for an interview, for example. That was very encouraging, as I'm still debating whether or not to go back into the paid workforce. Having nice interview suits would be wonderful!

Hope everyone has a great weekend. Monday will be 26 weeks (6 months) on Atkins for me.
