I fought Cold Stone Creamery Last Night!!!!!!!!!

And to reward myself for such bold resistance as soon as I got home I bought myself a little non-edible reward, (thank you Sephora).
My parents came over for dinner last night (with dinner) lol, they are both pretty health and enjoy the 'all carbs life' lol So we had yellow rice and sauce, but I tried to control myself. Earlier I offered to take my Mum for ice cream whenever she was feeling up to it and yup you guessed it, she picked last night-- fourth day into my lifestyle change. So as soon as we walked in I ordered my parents' ice cream first, paid and just tried to keep my mind off the fact that I wanted a Chocoloate Devotion with the chocolate chips replaced with Oreo Cookies.

Anyway, luckily my Step Dad got that so I had a bite and told myself that was more than enough.
We spent the rest of the evening on a nice stroll in and around town which I am sure made up for the little bite lol

My main goal for Monday is for the scale to read 246 solid not 246.3 or 246.7. So I've got to up the exercise today

I wish everyone lots of luck today!

Some people do not know understand exactly how hard a fight it is to say no to something so yummy! Good for you!

Gotta love those non-edible rewards- they stick around so much longer as reminders of the good things we've done for ourselves. I have a pair of earrings that I earned as a prize for the Get Fit Challenge I did with my Stroller Strides group, and love that I will ALWAYS have them as a reminder. It's hard to resist such yummy treats as Coldstone. Our family has discovered a great alternative in do-it-yourself frozen yogurt bars- is there one near you? There are a few around here, one at the mall, even. They always have low-fat or even non-fat flavors out, with healthy options to top them off- fresh fruits, granola, and other cereals. You have the ultimate control in how much you get, so you don't get more than you need and then feel obligated to finish it all. Definitely worth checking out!!! Best of luck to you today, too- it looks like you are making healthy choices that will pay off in the long run! :)

Thank you guys! I absolutely love this site because you guys actually understand that I actually have to make an effort to resist the bad things. Thank you Katie, I'm going to look into the frozen yogurt bars. One week I froze fruit cups and made my own little 'sorbet.' It still felt like dessert so I didn't mind at all that it wasn't a whooping 1000 calorie shake in fact I was mighty grateful! PS Welcome swtlissa68! I'm new here too and couldn't feel more encouraged on this website :-)
