Feeling pretty good about things today.
I officially fit into jeans that I haven't been able to wear since this time last year. The only problem is that I only own the one pair in the size that my thunder thighs didn't tear apart. The pants I was wearing are getting way too baggy to be acceptable. Maybe I'll stop by Goodwill and grab a pair to get me through transition.
I'm about 5 pounds away from being able to wear 2 brand new pairs of jeans from last Christmas. The tags are even still on them. They were to small when I got them, and I didn't return them because I so desperately wanted to fit into them. I'm glad I didn't get rid of them when I noticed the scale keep tipping in the wrong direction.
With dinner I got a Fruit and Yogurt Parfait from McDonalds. I've always avoided them because I hate fruit in my yogurt. It's a Zombieland Sno-Ball effect for me. 'Not the taste, the consistency.' Teehee. Anyways, I spent several minutes putting off eating, trying to build the courage. When I finally got to it. I DEVOURED it. Why have I been avoiding those things for so long? I think I found a new mid afternoon snack.
About to go on my evening walk, and then I'm shooting to run 11 minutes straight tonight.
I'm so proud of myself for how well I've been doing, and genuinely surprised too! My family has had a bag of marshmallows, and a bag of Twizzlers sitting on the kitchen counter just begging for me to eat them the past few days. 3 times I pulled out a Twizzler on my way through the kitchen, and each time I scolded myself and put it back. There's 130 calories in just 3 Twizzlers. Not worth it to me. That's almost an entire Fruit and Yogurt Parfait :)
