I just don't know what to change... i'm eating as much protein as i can.. stay around my RDI range (for the most part), drink lots of water, work out almost every day... i'd have to just stop. i take so much time away from my family for working out i can't afford any more time and be fair to my home situation.. and this can be like 2 hours a day sometimes!..i don't know....

maybe... ? i drink a lot of water trying to counteract the sodium... its so hard finding food as it is.. if i add low sodium to the mix for everything i won't be eating..lol... well that's what it feels like... this week i have taken in probably much more than a normal week..

i really low ball my calories burned.. i use my bmr and don't count any other activities besides real exercise... so it should give me a cushion for the deficit... based on web md my calories burn range about about 1900 a day... before exercise .. i only log "walking" but i'm jogging most of the time.. just trying to underestimate vs overestimate...this last few weeks has been a lot of experimenting but i'm kinda over it... i work out sometimes twice a day.. and i don't half ass it ..ever.. only my morning walk/jogs do i sometimes take it easy if i KNOW i'm going to the gym in the evening.. and wheni'm at the gym.. i'm either doing an hour long class, and 20-25 mins of weight training or 40 mins of cardio (elliptical/bike) and again 20-25 mins of weight training.. i'm so confused...

I'm sorry this week has been rough hun...I wish I can offer some advice, but I've never been in that situation and broke through to the other side (not to say that I won't eventually). I do agree with TheBake on the sodium thing. It can hold up some serious water in your tissues, maybe downing water is not enough, try counteracting it with increased potassium (to the body, it's sodium's opposite--so there should be a balance)...some foods that are rich in that mineral are bananas, lima beans, plantains, and cantaloupe (google potassium rich foods for more of a list). I hope any of this info helps. Always remember, you're a powerful woman that was fearfully and wonderfully made. :-)

hmm.. i never heard that... i didn't know that eating more potassium could counter act sodium?? and i'm sure me being 2 days from my TOM isn't helping...

Absolutely! I remembered this from my Anatomy and Physiology class. **nerd alert** Your cells have sodium/potassium pumps. They are constantly going in and out and must have a balance, but if there is more sodium than potassium, your cells swell....all of them! lol I PM'd you a great link about the two. :-)

I know what you mean. I am going on five months, two dr, and two trainers and am no cloer to losing anything. I have done all the tips that people give me and there is nothing wrong with me medically. My Dr. gave me a low dose of thyroid ( even tho I don't really need it ) to see if it makes a difference. I will give it a month to see. I am sure everyone has given you all the different things to try and I do believe it is just finding what works for you but finding it is the REALLY hard part. I don't want you to give up and keep trying as long as you can. But for me there will havae to come to a point when I have to stop dieting and if you reach that point than continue to eat healthy and exercise since it is good for you anyways but just don't diet. I really hope you find what works and continue, either way we are here for you and support you. Good luck and have a good weekend
