I just bouncing back and forth. Getting very discouraged. Will try really hard this week. Have to eat more food.
186.0 lb Lost so far: 3.0 lb.    Still to go: 26.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

I struggle with eating enough. It's strange how Atkins suppresses your appetite so much. No cravings and not hungry and the determination to no eat the bad stuff leaves me not eating near enough. Try to keep handy snacks that you can much on throughout the day. It seems like I lose less weight when I don't eat enough. Sometimes I just grab a spoonful of peanut butter. It's low carb and really good for you. It's like a treat to me too. Keep that metabolism from shutting down. Good Luck!

I also struggle with not eating enough. I think maybe I have been drinking to many shakes. I am going to try really hard this week I can't just keep bouncing back and forth. I am drinking plenty of water about 60 to 70 oz a day. I have got to put a daily list with the time to eat. Maybe that will make me eat. Good Luck

You might try drinking a little more water. I was told somewhere the 8 glasses a day rule is not really the best to go by. If you think about it, wouldn't a 300 lb person need more than a 125 pound person? So what I was told is to take your body weight and cut it in half and that is how many ounces of water you should drink a day. So if you are 186 then you should be drinking 93 ounces of water or liquids a day. Of course you can count some of your food towards water intake. I try to go by this rule. Don't know if it's 100% accurate, but I know when I drink more water I lose faster.

Thanks for the advice. I don't mind drinking water. I drink 2 cups of coffee in the morning and the rest of the day I drink water. Thanks Amanda give it a try. Have a good day. dj
