I've plateaued, but that's A OKAY! Because, I'm now working out 6 days a week instead of 2 days a week. And for almost 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours from 30 minutes, so I know the issue 🥴🏃‍♀️. I'm also adding strength training to my cardio, so, yeah. BUT! I would like your advice, especially those who are 50 years young and younger.

🤔So, my grandmother is trying to lose weight, but she gives up easily because she gains insanely easily. I would like advice from others around her young age to see how she can lose weight, but she has a host of medical problems.

1. Severe Rheumatoid Arthritis.
2. Hypothyroidism (Sadly genetic, and something all the women in our family battle with.)
3. She has an enlarged heart (1 1/2 times the size of a normal heart)
4. High Blood Pressure
5. She has a hole IN HER SPINE, so no sudden twisting movements or falling or she could instantly die.
6. Not too much red meat because she gets severe gout
7. She doesn't eat much but once a day, sometimes not at all, and I've seen her plate. It's no more than 1,200 - 1,400 calories MAX.
8. She has also an untreated epigastric hernia.
9. And diabetes

😢I just don't know how to help her. And her doctor just keeps telling her that she's obese and needs to lose weight. And she doesn't want any help when she needs it because she's so stubborn! But nothing hurts my heart more than seeing my grandma crawling on the floor just to get to the bathroom because the pain is so severe, but refuses any help 😭.Any advice would be lovely.

V-- That's my grandma and grandpa by the way. 🥰💕💕

@Anyone wondering about the doctor. Here is a review from a daughter of a patient that used to go to him. I've removed his name to keep it as professional as possible. My mother & father had been patients of Dr. _____ for over 6 yrs. My mom passed away April 30th & needless to say at that time the Dr.____ received some lab results bk of my father's that showed a medication he was taking was causing his kidneys to shut down well at that time my father should've been referred to a nethrologist(kidney specialist) but wasn't. My father's condition worsened & every time my father seen the Dr after that he just told my father to stop drinking water & loose weight. Well needless to say because of Dr _______ negligence of taking care of my father, my father is in memorial hospital with kidney failure which caused water on his lungs, fluid around his heart & his heart had been badly strained from this & 2 blood clots..... Dr. _______ is a murderer not a Dr

Does your grandma have to go to the same dr as your grandpa? I'm sorry you're going through this. And please do take care of yourself as well.

Please don't be sorry. This is what we are here for to share and help. I'm a big crier anyway. My dad, who died at 61, used to say I was the only person who could cry during a comedy.

@Tatauu, she tried to get a new doctor - the same as my own, but he moved his office to another city, and she can't sit for long periods of time due to sciatica. She also can't drive because her high blood pressure caused an aneurysm in her eye, so she's mostly blind. Technically she's legally blind, so they took her drivers license away. If the doctor is out of city; she won't go, because of the drive. I try to take her to any appointment that she needs if my grandpa can't take her, but it's hard. Thank you for your support 🙏💗.

@Tatauu, she also can't leave my grandfather for long periods of time because of his health issues. He passes out randomly sometimes, and last time he hit his head so hard he hasn't been the same since, and spent 2 weeks in the hospital. He has cirrhosis of the liver, non-alcohol induced, high blood pressure, diabetes he has to take insulin for, nerve damage, dementia and some other things, so he can't be left alone for long. He wanders off sometimes.

Some Doctors should Not been Doctors! I lost my kidney because the Doctor that I had was treating me for kidney stones only for over 3 years... while I was bleeding daily! Finely I handed up in a hospital with a deadly flu 😷 and believe or not ironically the flu 😷 handout saving my life! While no body even noticed or questions my bleeding a little angel 😇 Student nurse 👩‍⚕️ by Total accident while helping me to the bathroom because I was a falling risk and an isolation she noted the blood... ask me why.... and I stupidly reply: it’s nothing! Kidney just kidney stone!... she didn’t reply but immediately called a urologist and immediately give me MRI and after an emergency biopsy I was told surprise! I been having kidney cancer all alone... and spreading... emergency surgery! Lost my kidney... limps nodes... etc.. lots recovery.... but Thank God and my little angel I’m still here and alive! Yes!! I changed Doctor, and my primary Doctor now is great 👍 my point is... unfortunately that everyone of us have to be alert and learn to question everything! God Bless! And good luck and I hope you’re be able to change The Doctor! And yes I think There’s are a lot of bad Doctors there just for the money 💰 but checking the reviews is important! You will find Good caring Doctors out there! Unfortunately I learned the hard way! God Bless everyone and your families! 🙏🙏🙏❤️😊

It is so sad that your grandparents have all that health issues. I love the way you love and care about your grandparents. It is so wonderful ! Thyroid issues and high blood pressure can and should have already been be fixed through medicine. I am 53 years old but i have to tell you that since she has enlarged heart (and so much other health issues) training should be done only under cardiologist instructions. Definitely no bro science or advice for her. Hole in her spine ?!

@Tassos, she is on medicine for all of the health issues, but since she's allergic to so many medications she's limited on options, and she's on the ones that are best suited for her (as her primary health doctor says 🙄). I think her thyroid sits between 7-14, which isn't good, but it's better than before, which was around 23-28. And yes, a literally small hole is in one of her vertebra. I have no idea how it formed. Cardiologist... hm, I'll look into that. Thank you!
