Okay whoops, yesterday was a bust - I totally didn't record or anything. I had a totally full day back to school, longest day I've had in a while. Grad school is tough, but also has a lot of free time (well, in the beginning, when you're still gearing up for your projects, like me right no) so, yeah. I just came home and wanted to veg out. So, I shifted my workout routine to be Sunday, Tues, Weds, Thurs and then I usually do something on either Friday or Saturday... but yeah. So tonight I'm gonna workout.

My scale is really funky. My BF told me that he stepped on it and it weighed him 13lbs heavier than it did like a few weeks ago, and he eats like me... well he snacks a lot more but not 13lbs of crap more, I mean the food in the house isn't fattening stuff, and so, I know it's a load of bs. I just bought that scale too, and one for my mom - I'll feel bad if it's a lying SOB, lol... Don't know. Anyone recommend a reliable scale? Like - maybe one that they've had a reading from, and then had a reading from the doctor, or somewhere else and they were always the same?? I'd really like to know. My scale said I was up 2lbs, then I stepped on and off, and it dropped me 1lb, but still up 1. I'm not even worried, the dang thing is so screwy I don't believe it hardly. Except for the drops, LOL. I mean, it's more likely that it'd overweigh me (gravity, weight, etc...) than underweigh me, right? LOL Don't bust my bubble here.

Well, I don't really know what's going on with your scale. 13 lbs is crazy, especially for a guy and one that's not pigging out. So...is your scale on a perfectly flat place, absolutely no rocking from side to side or top to bottom if you press on each side alternately? If there's no movement at all, and you're weighing yourself in the same clothing (or lack thereof :), same time of day and it isn't consistent, then it's probably a faulty scale. Maybe it was dropped in shipping or stocking somewhere? I have the Tanita scale and although I don't always believe it's completely accurate (the fat percentage part), it does seem to be consistent. THAT said, however, I can get on the scale several times in a row and get a slight variation. Like today - it was .2 then .4, then .2... .4 won out for number of times, so that's what I went with. But what I think that might mean in this case is I was really at .3, but mine doesn't weigh in odd increments. And yes, I think you're right in that it might overweigh you than underweigh you. Makes sense to me! I think when it comes to scales, the best we can hope for is one that is consistent, even if it's not always accurate. =====================Ooohhh...back to the grind!
