I'm actually frightened to weigh myself. This weekend was bad. Yesterday was bad. I didn't eat a lot of food, but what I ate wasn't good. Did it taste good? Absolutely. Was it good for me? Eh...the jury's still out on that one. I CAN tell you though that the cake I ate at the end of the night was something that I would never eat again.

On Sunday morning, I was up to about 133.6. But that was after breakfast, I haven't had a wake up, go to the bathroom, strip down, and weigh in since Thursday. I know why my weight was so high on Sunday, because Joe and I ordered pizza because we had spent the entire day cleaning our kitchen and didn't want to mess it up with cooking. So my sodium was probably up. I also grazed the entire day, and then had some (read: entire bag) of pop corns. My sodium levels were probably through the roof.

I tried my best to guestimate what I ate on Sunday during my day out in the city. It was a really nice day with my parents and brother. Joe had to work overtime, so he couldn't come with us, which was truly a disappointment, but we're going to go again and take him. We got tickets to see "Jersey Boys," and got coffee at McDonald's once we got into the city. Then we walked to St. Patrick's Cathedral. A mass was going on, and my mother didn't want to interupt, so we left quickly. After that we walked down to Dave and Buster's to have lunch. My brother really likes the games there, so we spent about an hour there and ordered the worst food ever.

In NYC, they have to put the calories on everything. That really depressed me. We got an appetizer sampler, which was like 4500 calories! And then wings and burgers. I tried to stay low. The wings and burger (there were 4 burgers, 4 of us, that worked out in my favor) were basically all I ate. And a potato skin. I also got a Very Cherry Mojito, which was delicious, but probably all sugar.

After Dave and Buster's (on 42nd) we walked up to the theater on 52nd. But not before stopping at M&M's World! Yikes, it was insane in there. I wanted to yell at people and say, "HEY IT'S JUST M&MS! YOU CAN GET THEM IN ANY SUPERMARKET!" But, alas, I didn't think they'd listen, so I bought Joe a mug and M&Ms in Yankees colors, and I got myself some pretzel M&Ms, because I haven't been able to find them around here, and they are delicious.

Now it was off to the theater. The show was seriously amazing. If you haven't heard of Jersey Boys, it's a musical and it's a biographical account of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Starts in New Jersey, where they were founded, and follows them throughout their career, using their music. It was so good. If you ever get a chance to see it, I recommend it highly!

So after the show, just when you'd think we'd be done, we went to DINNER! A family style Italian restaurant. We ordered veal parmesan and linguine bolognese and red sangria. And for dessert, mini canolis. I was stuffed.

We had to walk back to the car, and I bought a new purse and wallet. And we went home. It was an awesome day. I'm feeling the effects of it. My pants fit the same, I just feel, squishy.

Yesterday we had steak, twice baked potatoes, mushrooms, and salad for dinner. I felt stuffed, but I managed to stomach that awful cake. (No one made it, well someone did, but it was from shop rite).

Other than that, everything is good. I'm going to try to make it to yoga on Thursday, just to get some exercise in, that has been something I have been very remiss about. I want to get started again. The temperature seems to be dropping, which makes me happy and sleepy all at the same time.

Well, I've got nothing else, thanks for reading, and I'll be around to your journals a bit later today.

PS: What's up with these new ads type things? Cool? Kinda, but it'll take some getting used to.

It sounds like you guys had a fabulous time. Good for you for making plans to get to a yoga class. That is honestly the only kind of exercise I actually ENJOY doing. And I totally hear you on the cooler temperatures. I took the dogs outside this AM and I was actually a little bit chilly, and that made me smile. :)
