jniferkay's Journal, 16 December 2019

Soooo....ten years ago, Jeff and I lost 25 lbs each. We did a great job keeping it off until roughly two years ago when our routine changed a bit. Weight slowly crept back until earlier this year when I had officially gained back 19 of the 25 lbs. In November, I managed to drop 10 of it. I'm happy enough with that, but would be thrilled if I could lose 5 more. I'm struggling because I feel I really sacrificed for five weeks and now, after a two week rest, I know I have to sacrifice again. This is not the best time of year to stay focused on weight loss, so I'm writing all of this down to try to motivate myself to keep it going for another five weeks. Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la!

Your health is important - would it help to think about weight loss as a gift to your future healthier self? That is what I am trying to do.

Have you tried intermittent fasting? It really works my wife and I have been doing it for nine weeks now along with watching our calories. And we both lost 20 lbs. Good luck on your healthy lifestyle journey
