So I'm driving from Charlotte, NC to Clinton, SC today. I'm from MN so this is not normal. I see these signs for peaches and think "Hey, they're in the plan". I pull off the freeway to one of these roadside stands and buy 4 peaches for $1.88. I asked if they were in season and got a resounding "Yes" from the one employee there. These peaches were the best damn things I've eaten in weeks.
I ate two in 10 minutes.
The other two are about to be history.
Is there anything better (food wise) than fresh picked, in season, fruit? Apples in October, Strawberries in July... Love it, Love it, Love it.
