Doing well - though I haven't been posting messages regularly I'm on Atkins for life though I've added fruits and some carb foods like brown rice regularly. Sugar is out except on a celebration of a birthday. I'm close to my goal weight. Not walking much as it has been raining almost every evening - thunderstorms or the threat of them preventing me from going out for a long walk - either that or a prolonged rain. Last week one evening it thunderstormed for like over 4 hours straight, which is not common for western Massachusetts. But it has been raining a lot lately, enough so one can't go for a walk in the evening as it rains, then stops and starts up again frequently. Tomorrow more rain is forecast. Hopefully it will clear up enough to go for a walk. I'm joining a gym in September or October once the cool weather comes and it's too cold to exercise outdoors. I haven't left the site - still here. I've cut back on coffee creamer. That I think was too much and has allowed me to eat other carbs. But I still want to lose a bit more weight though not a lot more, ten or fifteen more pounds to go. One thing for certain it is a lot easier to maintain one's weight loss than to lose it. I can occasionally now have a treat. But more exercising is definitely in my future so I can enjoy more foods - but healthy ones of course. Welcome new people - Atkins is a wonderful way to go to lose weight and stay trim!!! Glenn :)
