I'm tired now, but I felt great today. I bought the cutest shirt on clearance for $2 a couple of days ago. I didn't even try it on in the store because it was only $2 and if it didn't fit I would just give it to one of my friends. But it DID fit and it fit perfectly. I was so cute. So that me feel good about myself. I also worked out 30 mins on the elliptical like I told myself I would. I wanted to quit 10 mins into it, but I made it through. Did high intensity and got the heart rate up to 160.
I have felt really in control of myself the last 2 days. It was the weekend and we only went out for lunch yesterday. Other than that we didn't eat out. James commented that this weekend was the first time we haven't gone out to eat (multiple times) since he can remember. I have a dinner menu on the fridge and we are sticking to it. It doesn't hurt that we are strapped for cash after paying for vacation either.
The kids next door brought over 2 cupcakes and I'm proud to say that I didn't eat one! (James ate both so they are also out of my life)

Good job on the cupcakes. We too have saved a ton of cash with the new healthy eating. I make dinner and making dinner is better for my waist line and better for our wallet.

Great job! I have a recipe for cupcakes that we can eat while we are trying to lose weight. I made them once and they were delicious but I had to give them away because my son came home and one of the main ingredients was almonds which he's allergic to. I think I'll try them with a different nut this time. I'll message you as soon as I find the recipe.
