Boyfriend and I got in a fight this morning. Why I am always the one to apologize? He told me that I don't see him as family because I didn't want to make a 5 hour round trip to pick up a car for him. I've been making dinner, cleaning the apartment, biking home from work (while he has my car), paying for groceries and rent and everything else, and making him lunch in the morning. Fuck. I'm a damn good girlfriend. And I wanted to go to East Lansing this sunday, we were going to stop and look at a car on the way then drive an extra hour and pick up his old junk car so that he can use that in the mean time. Then he tells me that the junk car is actually an extra 2.5 hours out of the way, which means going home is a 4 hour trip. On a sunday, with work in the morning. So we were probably leave East lansing by 6, and the people I want to see aren't even getting together until 4. So yeah, I was a little upset. I may have over reacted a tad and called the drive to the car "a stupid trip" and said that I didn't want to go. I didn't say I wouldn't go. But he said I didn't see him as FAMILY. I've done so much in the last two weeks I can barely handle it. And he wonders why I'm so sad. Fucking playing housewife to an empty apartment because he's working gone 12 hours a day. And stayed out last night getting drinks. Sorry I don't want to spend the only time I have with you in a fucking car.
