First day of Atkins today. I'm doing okay with it. Some hunger, but I think that is because I am not eating as much as I used to. However, I am eating until I'm no longer hungry, I just get hungry very quickly. Kind of like the mind is saying, "Where's my bread? Where is my pasta? Where is my chocolate ice cream? WAAAAAAHHHHH! I want Chocolate Ice Cream!!!!!!!!"
Just like that.
I'm a little short on veggie carbs. Have eaten 4 cups of spinach today (I hate lettuce, so spinach is my lettuce substitute) along with 1 cup of broccoli. Might be able to increase my broccoli intake? I've never been a veggie guy, so the whole raw veggie thing is VERY new for me. I've never eaten a "salad" before today (had a spinach, broccoli, and roast beef salad for lunch). I just don't know what I will like and I don't have the money to try a whole bunch of things out. So for now, it's spinach, broccoli, cauliflower and green beans.
