Weight went down, but may have been that I was wearing lighter clothes ;-0. ( Seriously) Anyway, things have been going reasonably well although today I have not written out what I have eaten yet. I might just go over my 35 optional points by a hair today. Good thing tommorrow is the last day of my WW week.

The topic at the WW meeting was empowering and dis-empowering beliefs. The leader asked what I found to be the most challenging disempowering belief that I have, and I told her that "I think after 8 years of weight maintenance I should be able to just not count points anymore -and still keep from gaining weight" . It does vex me sometimes, particularly as people say - you're slim - why are you being careful, And that is EXACTLY the reason. With a maintenance daily point target at about 19 points per day I have to count every day or I quickly run into trouble.

Of course - I could really make a difference if I worked out as seriously as some of the folks do on this web site ( including my diet buddies) .

I will look to other posts for inspiration this week!
145.0 lb Lost so far: 10.0 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 0.9 lb a week

I know what you mean. It seems as soon as you let your gaurd down a bit the weight creeps right back on. That's where I'm at right now trying to play catch up!!! I'm glad to hear that your meetings are informative for you. That helps tremendously!

I have been really happy with what I have learned so far from my WW groups. I have struggled all of my life with weight and finally am getting to the "loss" part. In my opinion, everyone should track their food always, regardless of weight. It is about your health and how to maintain it for the long-term. I consider food tracking a small sacrifice of time for the big picture. It sometimes takes me until the night to add all my food, but I am diligent so that I have a record. Working out is hard to get started but that feeling that you get when you are nearing the end of a workout and the glow I feel after it are well worth the sweat and hard work. You have been doing an amazing job and I am sure that you will stay at the weight you want by keeping track and maybe doing a little bit more activity. Small additions result in big changes over time, don't forget that! You are doing amazing, just keep up the good work, and the great attitude! You inspire me too!
