I just read an article, on msn.com, about taco shells being made out of bacon. I enjoy tacos, and bacon, but even I would hesitate to make those, as I've been known to eat five or six tacos at a time; that would be a lot of bacon, and probably end up being more than twice my RDI, when it was all said and done. I think romaine lettuce leaves make a better substitute, and just have taco wraps instead. :-)

I don't know, trying 1 with the bacon shell and the rest in a wrap or over lettuce would be fun :)

Romaine lettuce work well. BTW, have you tried baby kale as a salad green? It's what I use mostly these days. Baby kale, topped with some cherry tomatoes, onion, etc. feta cheese. Olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing. I love it!

La Tirra makes a taco shell that is only 4 carbs and best of all they are good!!!!
