Ugh. I am so sick right now. But, on the upside, it looks like the 179 might be holding. I weighed in at 179.2. I still think it's total b.s. that I'm following this diet to a T and I'm not losing but maybe it's what Jamie says and my body is adjusting to the new weight before it starts dropping again. I am going out for sushi tomorrow. I know it's not on plan and the sodium will be crazy high. But it's okay. I do this maybe twice a year and I opted to not go on my birthday in November. I'm not going to sweat it.
Interestingly, I took a week's worth of menus to my general practitioner doctor who had been wary of Atkins when I'd spoken to him about it a month ago. He was surprised at how healthy and balanced the diet actually is and told me to keep up what I'm doing.
