Note to today's journal entry:Dieting is expensive. Eating right is expensive. Losing weight was taking up a lot of energy and I temporarily put it on hold and gain some perspective on my bank account, lol. All is good and fine, just stressful. I will succeed!

You're in good company with that thought. I do however sometimes tell myself, "how much would you be willing to pay for a miracle pill that quarantees you one pound a week of loss, or one of those nutri-system plans that delivers food to you??? They cost as much as $8-$12 da day. Yet lots of people pay that, including me.. I tried it but it wasn't something I could do for the rest of my life, and I gained it all back. What would we be willing to pay to prolong a healthy life for ourself?
soooo yes, road to health might cost a little more, but what is your health worth to you.
We actually saved money, hubbys is off diabetic meds entirely now (controled by diet), he had all his other meds for cholesteral and blood pressure dropped by 1/3... I had my cholesteral and blood pressure meds completely taken away. What we spend in extra dollars to keep fresh veggies and healthy lean meats on hand, is LESS than what we were spending on perscriptions. I love that!
