wholefoodnut's Journal, 20 May 2019

My first day of the week off is winding down. Much done but tempered by the weather--too wet to plant. DAng chilly and windy. Grass mowed and some other things accomplished. A steady rain tonight with possibly severe over night. There is a river down my street at the moment as the ground is saturated, hope the storms drains handle it without backing up into homes. 6-8 inches over the next couple of days. UGG> Not what we need with areas flooded. Thankful I'm up on a river bluff.

Gave some lettuce and herbs to a neighbor and a delish big salad with fresh greens from my garden for dinner. .

It’s supposed to rain for the next 9 days . . . no breaks in sight. Man! 😳

HI Johanne, thought about you driving through Odessa on Sat. going to Jeff City for the state track meet. Hit some major rain in your area on the way home, not fun driving for sure. 2 3/4 inches overnight here and 2-4 more expected today. Looks like tomorrow might be dry then more rain through at least Memorial Day. Guess my gardens won't get planted.
