fatgirl29's Journal, 12 May 2008

yuck. i haven't been losing weight at all.i've been the same weight for the longest time and i am sick of it. i just joined the gym and so far i went almost everyday. i feel so good, whenever i exercise. i even cut back on all the sugary and fatty foods and went healthy. why is nothing happening??? it's pissing me off. i'm afraid i'm going to get health-obsessed, which i guess isn't a bad thing, but what if i take it too far???

i shouldn't really care...

but i was sitting in class today and my teacher said that people who are obese are 30+ pounds over weight.... if this is true, then i am obese. 0_0 but when i check the BMI calculater, it says that i'm at risk... isn't being unfit and chubby characterized as overweight? technically i am supposed to weigh between 100-115 pounds...

i am beginning to think that i am doing something wrong with my diet... i think i have to go back to the first diet i was ever on...

whatever.... this is enough of my rant. good day.

p.s i hope everyone is doing okay... :]

When you don't have a lot of weight to lose, it can come off slower than someone with a lot to lose. Working out is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Are you journaling your food? Sometimes we take lots of BLT's (bites, licks and tastes) and they add up to a lot of calories. Maybe try to set your goal for 1200 calories a day (or more depending on your age and size). Try to get in at least 2 cups of dairy (lowfat or nonfat milk, lowfat cheese, etc). Eat lots of fresh fruits, veggies and lean protein. Try to stay away from processed foods (too much sodium). Give it a week or two and see what happens. The scale might not move alot, but you should start to see a differenc in how your clothes fit. Losing weight can be a trial and error thing. Keep trying different things until you find what works for you and your body. Good luck!
