Dinner entry for tonight was lasagna of my own creation so just picked one on the FS list. Mine uses ricotta and cottage cheese, lots of spinach and basil, mozzarella and parm cheese, my own spaghetti sauce that is lower in calories and carbs and sodium than the Jarred stuff and a portion of the Yo-Mamma brand Chianti marinara sauce. It is also low in carbs and sodium and tastes great. I don’t have a recipe, I just wing it.

Kenna- I cook the same way. I may look at a picture or a recipe for inspiration but I "create" meals and dishes by winging it all the time.

I too wing it when it comes to recipes, unless I am baking (something I really don't enjoy doing) then I follow the recipe to the letter. My mom did things the same way, so I'm just following in her lovely footsteps. My daughter does the same, except she wings it when it comes to baking. I admire her for that!

A recipe is a good "suggestion". I too cook the same.
