Just read your entry and you are so right! You have the right to believe in whatever you want to! I wish people would just respect each other and not shove their opinions down your throat. Just wanted to let you know that good people are out there :) Hope ya have a great day!

I agree with you both. I have the greatest of respect for anybody who are religious regardless of the belief but not when they use it as an excuse for their actions ( so many wars from the crusades to Burma). No one has the right to say their religion is the right one. But i accept they want to 'save' us from ourselves...but please don't ram it down my throat and don't shoot me. There was an Irish comedian in the 70's called Dave Allen who always ended his show with the comment 'may your god go with you'... That's the right attitude. Rant over :)

In their defence for a moment i believe it was a friendly attempt at encouragement... But it irritated me that it was a religious context 'trust in god and you will meet your goals' and from some I would have taken it that way. But unsolicited from someone I don't know and who clearly doesn't know me...
