I was a little high on protein today, but that's OK because I fucking killed it in the gym.
I wasn't weak, didn't tire easily, and I went up a weight or more on all my lifts. I lifted today like I did three or four years ago, and finished up with 12 minutes on the elliptical, got my heartrate up to 185bpm. My shoulders aren't popping or clicking, but I do have a lot of soreness in the left one.
I like Sunday afternoons at the gym. The serious lifters are there, the big guys.
Sure, this time of year there are the resolutionaries and the high school kids, but in five or six weeks they'll be gone.
I'll sleep well tonight. I don't know if I'm going to work back & biceps or legs tomorrow, or just do cardio and core.
I took my melatonin along with glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM, calcium, magnesium and a multi-vitamin, and washed them down with creatine.
