Okay, I'm hanging in though I have had a couple of cheats, like 5 Cheetos yesterday and something else the day before but now I can't remember. I keep telling myself to make things for me to munch on but I haven't. I have the ingredients and guess I just need to get off my butt and do some cooking. I've been good with exercise. Nothing systematic just massive cleaning around the house. Like this morning, by 10:30 I clean one whole side of the porch, big mess, washed and put away 1 load of laundry, made hummingbird nectar, took down my shower curtains, washed them and hung them back up, cleaned the kitty litter and scrubbed where my dog pooped on my carpet last night. That all should burn some fat! Though yesterday I hadn't done too much or at least nothing to note so I have to tell myself "No lazies!". Well, I'm going to go make the scrambled egg cup recipe I saved and tonight I'm makeing those bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers with ribs. If I stay out of my son's cabinet I will do fine.

Welcome! You sound very motivated, but if you are going to do Atkins, you are going to have to give up the snacking on the bad carbs no matter how small. I don't want you to stay on this diet for two weeks and not get anything out of it. Make your efforts count for everything that they are worth. This is not an easy diet, it leaves little no room for cheating. On a different note, I Love your picture! Good Luck
