I am a 42 year old housewife with 2 sons, one an adult and one a teen. I live in an extremely rural area of North Georgia and have dogs, cats, goats and donkeys. I've had a weight problem since moving from Florida to Georgia in 1994. At one time I weighed up to 209 but have come down from that bouncing around anywhere from 159 to my current weight 175. I started with this site in July but had to go down to Florida for a couple of weeks and ended up eating out too much, eating more pizza than necessary, and sitting on my butt. Today I vow to get back on track including more exercise in my daily routine. My first goal is 15 pounds by October 2nd reaching 160. I know I can do it! I'm also hoping to find some good recipes on here, which I already have this morning and have the ingredients for. Happy weight loss to all!

potato skins
You know that I have read this in the past too. The skin is the fiber. As long as you can get out all the the starch, which turns to sugar as soon as it hits your tongue, keeping this snack to a minimum, I think, would be okay.Smile
