I've been trying this new supplement called Phase 2. It's suppose to block ezces carbs from being absorbed into the body when you eat a carb loaded meal. It's derived from white kidney bean extract. I'm going to see how it has affected my weight loss this week. I don't feel that it would be wise to eat a lot of processed carbs as a regular part of my diet especially since following the Atkins way of eating nutritionally dense foods has worked so well for my over all health. But I feel it's good for when I decide to eat carb rich foods or find myself in a situation where my choices are limited. I'm still looking forward to controlling what I eat and choosing my food wisely.

Lokking at Thursday helps me to see how not making wise choices and mindless eating can definitely add to weight gain and other health problems. Even though my eating off plan was more deliberate I see how my past choices were really un wise. Keeping track has really opened my eyes and even recording what I eat when going off plan is a real eye opener.
