I know that the day to day up and down is part of it. I know that it is just how I lose weight. I HATE it! I hate seeing the numbers go back up. I am usually down for two up for three or four down for two.... I worked outside the other day for about 7 hours and the next day I was holding water weight I was up 5lbs! Yikes! Today I'm back down to 157.2 but I was at 155.2. I just need to be patient.

I think that I have been getting a little bored with my food choices. I'm tired of meat. I didn't ever think I would say that. I rarely feel hungry just weak. It's such a strange feeling. Is this what other people feel as hunger? It is so different from the carb craving have to eat NOW feeling I'm so used to. I'm still having a haed time eating enough in a day. I think I would do better with three meals and two snacks but I get so sick of thinking about food and preparing it. I need to get some go to snacks and meals.


I think that I am also frustrated that no one has noticed yet. I've been doing this for about 7 weeks now and am down 11-12 lbs. I think that is must be that I wasn't at my high weight for very long. This weight I am at is where I have been for the last year so I'm sure I just look pretty normal. But I have worked so hard and am feel better. No Shelf under my boobs, bending over is easier, not so much back fat, thighs looking better, pants all loose.

I think that the next five lbs will make a huge difference. I will be solidly in my 10's, and close to 150 or just under. This is a place I feel good about. I really don't want to get too comfortable here again. I'd like to push through and keep it up and FINALLY get under 140. It would be the first time in over 12 years!

Just a little mental Blah for the day. Over all I feel better I think that is just is feeling a little slow for me. I think I need to keep moving up the Owl rung. I really miss fruit. It has been my only cheat. I think I'll add berries back in next week. As soon as the scale gets back down to 155. Well maybe I'll wait untill I hit my next goal which is 154.5(I think). Then I can move to 30 carbs and berries! Yeah!

Also I would LOVE to get some time to go on a couple walks this week. This could be really hard but I will try to get it in. I'm sure that it would make a difference.

Keep up the good work! You can do it! I know what you mean about feeling low energy. I just started atkins a week ago and I dont feel hungry so much as just low energy. Im guessing its that I dont have carb highs anymore. Have you tried cheese chips? They are really good! You just microwave an ounce of cheese on a plate till it gets crispy. I just discovered them! Good luck!

My favorite part of Atkins is not feeling hungry. It was always hard not to think about food when my stomache was growling :) I've also founnd a great snack - 3T heavy cream, 1/4 t unsweetened cocoa powder, and 1 drop of ez-sweetz. 30 seconds to whip and instant chocolate mousse!!

I am on Dukan. Some parallels to Atkins. I have to agree that sometimes I feel like I dont have any energy. More so in the first 4 weeks than now. Being able to fill yourself is a huge plus. I just have to be prepared with my own food if I am out and will not have access to a healthy option. The treats you can eat are my saving grace. I drink ice coffee with sweetner and 2% milk, make an oatbran pancake with oatbran, non fat yougurt, egg whites and sweetner. If I am home relaxing for the night I will put 2 nonfat fruit yogurts in the freezer. After about an hour its a nice treat and it satisfies all cravings!

On the fustration of it taking so long to loose ounces. I hear you. I never thought that it would take so long to loose the weight I lost. With 5-7 pounds to go it could take me another 3 - 4 months until I reach phaze 3. I am going to keep going just to prove to myself that I can do it! Keep it up- maybe next week you will have a break through.
