I can't believe that I've been on the ATKINS diet 5 weeks and when I first weighed myself I was at 185. Then on August 27th I weighed 181 which I was thrilled about. Here I am, five weeks later, and after really being very diligent about the diet, (you can check out my food plan) I weigh 183. I'm now convinced that 185 or somewhere in that ranged is what Mother Nature is telling me I'm supposed to weigh. I'm DISCOURAGED and I'm HUNGRY!!!! I was on this diet once before and I felt then the way I do now; LIKE I'M STARVING MYSELF!

You have only been low carb a few days that I see you should be 20 carbs or less each and everyday. It takes three to 4 days to hit ketosis. I would also suggest you have more whole foods like salads, zuchinni and other low carb veggies. Once you are totally fat adapted you will no longer be so hungry all the time.

all those prepared foods can really mess you up too, that sweet tooth is something you really should avoid until you are fully fat adapted and can test things. Your fat should be in the 70 to 80%, your protein in the 15 to 25% and carbs super low at max 20, even better if you do less at first.
