It’s apple season for some of my friends. Their trees are producing even though it hasn’t been cold. Poor things are so confused.. the apples are incredible. Not like store bought at all. Sooooo— a “flat apple pie”. The recipe comes from THE PIONEER WOMEN cooking show on the Food Network. Tastes wonderful— never fails and easy. First one I have made since last season. BF and I will each have one piece and share the rest with my neighborks husband. She does not eat sweets of any kind, ever, never, no-way. Strict vegetarian for 40 years. . But he isn’t. I take him a desert whenever I make one. Keeps him sane.
