Joy - I finally did it! I met the first milestone I set many years ago. Once my doctor helped me identify what was preventing me from losing weight, it has not been difficult to make progress.

OK enough celebrating, I am still officially overweight (but no longer obese). Time to set the next milestone goal and get to work on it.
140.0 lb Lost so far: 6.6 lb.    Still to go: 15.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

She told me the foods I thought of as healthy were actually toxic to me system. She had me read “The Plant Paradox” by Dr. Steven Gundry and follow his food recommendations. I feel better and my weight has dropped without counting calories. I can also eat breads and desserts as long as they are with approved ingredients. The food ingredients are more expensive but I have found most in my local grocery.

Great to hear. Recently read more about how certain imbalances can interfere with effective loss. Happy you got it sorted out.

awesome I have the same thing going on, foods that I am intolerate of cause me to have problems too.
