Not sure why I gained 2.8 pounds, I still haven't had any sodas, maybe a snack of something sweet once in a while, but disappointed with weight gain.

Is it that time of the month? Have you been eating too much sodium? Are you drinking water to flush out sodium? Are you tracking your caloric intake? Did you eat more yesterday than usual? It could be a whole slew of factors effecting your weight fluctuations. Google "why the scale lies" for insight in to water weight gains. Did you exercise hard yesterday (muscles can retain water showing a temporary gain on the scale).
