I think it is because it is winter, but I have just done terribly. I gained back what I lost last August. Plus, I seem to have turned into a couch potato with a craving for snacks and sweets. I am hoping that I can get back on track. I don't know. I have been at this weight for years now and very very unhappy.

I also find the more sweets I eat, the more I want. We get into cycles and it's hard to get ourselves out of them. If you are really unhappy, then start taking steps to make yourself feel better. Once you do, you will find yourself feeling better and will like how you feel. I feel really good when I am eating healthy and exercising. Just make up your mind to do one thing different this week (maybe eat more fruit, go for a short walk). Before you know it, you will start feeling better and really want to make more changes. It all comes down to attitude. You need to commit to a healthy way of eating for a lifetime. Diets don't work. If Atkins is the plan for you, you need to commit to it and do it for life. If you lose the weight then go back to the way you used to eat you will gain it all back because eating that way is what made you heavy in the first place. If you are unhappy you need to take control and change your lifestyle. Yes, it is hard but it is so worth it. You CAN do this. Start by making small changes if that's what works for you, or jump in and change everything all at once. Find what method works best for you and stick to it. Good luck and remember, you CAN do this!!

Get yourself out of that ugly carb cycle. You know what you need to do and you can do it. It worked before and I know you'll feel so much better. Good luck!
