Well I did good on the take off. I did get hungry and wasn't used to that. But thank goodness its over! :p I go to weigh in this afternoon. I weighed this morning on my own scales and I saw a loss. Let's just hope it shows up this afternoon. I'm going to do very good this week. I'm not going to eat out or eat anything frozen. That's what is throwing me off...when I eat out. I went to a buffet one day this week and I did good with the main course, but when I got up to get dessert, I wound up getting chocolate covered strawberries and a chocolate muffin. I should have just glued my behind to the seat and drank my water like a good girl. But its just gotten to the point where I'm not loosing and its making me frustrated. But its not that the plans not working, its because I'm not eating the right things. Its my fault and I'm whipping myself back into shape. =)

Brandi, you are doing fine, don't give up. I remember in the beginning doing the same things as you, but when I finally decided that I HAD to stay with the program completely, I would lose about 2 lbs a week and I loved to see that. I have been with LA for 16 months and still have not reached my goal, but I have not given up and I started working out with a trainer two times a week. I did go out to eat last night at TGI Fridays and had the chicken skillet with brocolli, (hold the cheese)and I feel like I ate too much chicken yesterday. We will see when I go weigh in today. If you didn't lose on the Take OFF, it is ok. Just start back over today, you can do it.

Brandi you are doing great. You will get back in shape. What I decided is to tell myself that that piece of whatever goody is tempting me will be there at the end of the program for me. So to skip it...for now. It's not like I will never have that cookie or piece of cake again. Unless I'm in a foreign country and am faced with this incredible looking dessert then I say go for it! Have a great weekend and don't beat yourself up over it.

Thanks balonzo, I appreciate your comments and encouragement. I just hope to see some good results this afternoon. The hardest part is going to be this weekend, that's when I usually eat out or am off my regular weekly routine. Thanks again!! And good luck with your loss!!

My counselor told me that I might not see the loss result from the "take off" on the first weigh in afterwards.....I guess she does not want me to disappointed. I am going tomorrow morning for mine.... Just remember it is one day at a time, my buddy. Look at that chart over there ------------> and be very proud of yourself. Most people would love to see those results. Hey I am still hooked on those Fiber One bars (and have not even told them I am doing them, oy ve) I think I need to get addicted to sugar free jello instead....he he he. Oh and buffets are the worst.........I am convinced they are an invention of the devil. Stay away from them and prep your foods, it is important to stick to your routine, just as with sleep....
