Ok, so South Beach didn't quite work out for me. I'm not great at deprivation. I'm adjusting things a little bit also because of my high blood pressure, which is my primary concern over losing weight. Lots of low-sodium, low-calorie foods in smaller (measured) portions, plus a little bit more daily exercise (20 minutes to an hour each day). It might not work as quickly as South Beach does, but it'll be healthier and probably last longer...ha.
Day 1 of the Heather diet begins in the morning. Wish me luck.
