I had a cheat meal... surpisingly I don't feel guilty, just blah lol. It wasn't as satisfying as I thought it would be, I didn't find it anymore delicious than any of the food I eat on Atkins. All it did was solidify that I do not want to ever eat like that again, my stomach is bloated and I felt physically like total crap as soon as I was done eating. The anticipation of getting to eat junk was much better than the actual food lol. Ya live and learn I guess..

I just remember feeling worse after - that is what you'll have to do next time you're tempted with pizza, spaghetti, cake, pie, donuts, etc. Everyone knows I'm dieting but they're constantly offering me junk food - it's because they're overweight and want me to bloat up too, which I for one am going to make certain is not going to happen again. Last week a friend started arguing with me the diet is too restrictive. I said it works and I'm sticking to it - she is overweight and so sickly she can only work part-time due to low energy. She constantly drinks extra large milkshakes and tons of other junkfood and says sugar is energy and denies it makes one CRASH! I'll bet she's diabetic but she refuses to have her blood drawn. Anyway, I've got many people - relatives and friends telling me to get off this diet since I've lost so much weight. But no way - at least fifteen more pounds to twenty then to lifetime maintenance... You keep strong and as time goes by the cheat days will go away if you really want to be thin. Don't feel like you're deprived. Think of everything WONDERFUL that you can eat and LOSE weight doing without starving like everyone else is doing on all those other diets. Sure this diet is restrictive - but if you have the willpower to stick to a lifetime plan with this you can't help but one day be thin - people are already telling me I'm thin enough as they remember the me from 55 plus fat pounds ago! But I know I need to lose some more for optimum health. You can do it - so what if you cheated - I did on Christmas Eve and felt so sick.. no more of that --- best wishes you're on the right path on this site it has helped me so much to focus on the diet and not eat carbs! :)

I'm with you, girl. No more cheats for me (at least until I reach my goal and then only sparingly). It just isn't worth it. You can be a part of my no-cheats club if you want! :) GlennM too! We are so blessed to have a diet where we don't starve and we can still lose weight. Sometimes we need a reminder of why we do this, but as long as it doesn't throw you off track, a cheat here and there isn't going to hurt you.
