Alright FS I'm starting my low carb diet today. I'm already worried. We went to the store last night and I got some stuff. I'm worried I'm going to be hungry all the time. I don't know what to eat that's low carb. I think I might still eat fruit like apples because I don't have much else that's low carb that I like to eat. I think I might shoot for between 100 and 150 carbs instead of eating below that. I refuse to eat salad all day and I want to make sure I'm eating enough. I've logged everything for today even dinner and I'm only at 1060 calories. I have a few things on there that are low carb but high sodium because I didn't know what else to get. We'll see how this goes. I'm going to have to tweak what I'm eating. I don't want to eat below 1200. With the exercise I'm doing - 30 day shred, I'm assuming I should probably be eating above 1200 because that might not be enough to fuel my workouts.

Most low carb diets have more fat in them to increase the calorie intake.

Perhaps just focus on increasing your protein first - protein keeps you from being too hungry, then reduce carbs slowly so you are getting the carbs or fruits, veggies and whole grains only. The extra fat will fuel your workouts, too, and the protein will help your muscles and their repair. Good luck!
