Day 5 of a planned 5 days of ‘no solid food’ fasting
Here is my highest weight each month for the past 3 months (with the associated calories and macros):
1/2019 [Highest Weight: 179lbs] (1265kcal Fat: 55.74g, Protein: 112.56g, Carbs: 70.55g) 2/2019 [Highest Weight: 177lbs] (1368kcal Fat: 75.99g, Protein: 91.56g, Carbs: 71.05g) 3/2019 [Highest Weight: 172lbs] (1329kcal Fat: 94.84g, Protein: 67.36g, Carbs: 36.68g)
So I am continuing my reduction in carbs and protein.
It is important to me to look at my numbers. I am only able to ‘do something’ when I have *motivation*. Looking at my numbers, seeing the facts in front of my face, motivates me to make -one action over another-.
My calories are virtually unchanged, yet, my weight has come down when I reduced my carbs and protein.
😎 Life is Good! Have a great day everyone!

Looks good...Are you maintaining the muscle & strength?

Clearly a downward trend. You have worked hard for it

Great to see. Lower protein is in the pipeline for me too, especially for maintenance. Looking forward to it.

@srossca - I am just 'maintaining' at the gym. I'm not trying to 'get stronger' right now. Next month, after I get back from vacation and my planned 'huge binge' I may change things up :)

@liv001 - Thanks :) I will see if I can get to 160lbs in the next three weeks :)

@Diddlee - Protein was the only thing I could change. Cutting calories, when you're only doing 1k a day, is not something I want to do :)

adef, are you also tracking BS? I ask because you usually include it in your daily post. Have you seen any BS trends?

@gz9gjg - It has been a year so I decided to stop tracking BS (Blood Sugar). Basically I noticed that if I have carbs it will be low in the morning. If I have a lot of protein it will be high. If I water fast it will be low. Basically, after losing 40 pounds I am no longer at risk of being a Type-2 diabetic :)
