I have a question for all you smart people in computerland.
How do I say this delicately? I don’t.
I’ve never had a problem with constipation like I have since I started eating better. I started eating a few prunes almost everyday a couple weeks ago to help move things along. Now they’re not working as well as they were. Any ideas? 😳
227.0 lb Lost so far: 47.0 lb.    Still to go: 52.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Depending on how good/strict you have been on your diet yes thatvis a reproblem as your body adjusts. I have found that increasing water consumption helps the best over the long time but for quick relief fiber pills help. I do not take everyday. Sometimes 1 to 3 days in a month if im being really good and working out hard. I get the ones from Costco. Just my two cents. Hope it helps

And I agree with you too Bret. I do need to drink more water. We got a water softener a few weeks ago and I hate the taste of the water, which really bums me out b/c I loved the taste of our tap water. I haven’t been drinking nearly as much water as I used to. Since I can’t drink the nasty water I guess I need to use laxatives or something. Ugggg.

I eat humas when that happens. You can make your own just process caned chick peas and add garlic, red pepper or whatever. Leave out the oil if you are watching fats.

many times it is what you are eating too that will do that and yes you need your water, if you dislike your water then pick up a couple gallons of distilled water from the store, I think it is 25 cents a gallon when you fill it yourself from your containers

you can also squeeze lemons into the water to help make it taste better and the lemon juice is good for you. quick fix is powdered vitamin C in a high dose, start at 5000 dosage, they warn you that you can get the runs from this, back in the day when I used to eat all those refined flours and cheese etc I used to get backed up and I would take 10,000 and it would clear the deck.

Sometimes is the low carbs diet But a papaya and orange juice helps a lot

This happened to me for 2 weeks last month and I nearly killed myself! Literally - now my something has prolapsed (so I get to figure that one out now) Any who - after much research I discovered that this is somewhat common among dieters especially on low carb. My research led me to 6 capsules of Psyllium a day and 2-3 Tbsp of MCT oil a day. Sometimes I don’t go every day now but always every other and no straining! Good luck! You will feel so much better once you figure it out!!!😜

Water Water Water! If you don't like the taste of your new water, get a refillable jug from the store, or add lemon/flavor.

Herbalife Tea, that works like magic. Drink then a few mins later - 1 hr boom bathroom galore. Trust me we drink it at the office and it works for all.

I use miralax on a daily basis. It helps with constipation but I also have gastraparesis. I just dissolve it in my coffee. No taste and I'm good to go!

i take equate fiber therapy daily and a laxative pill thing if i feel like thinga need a little more encouragement. i could eat 100000 grams of fiber and still not go

I alternate between Senokot tablets and a soluble fiber I mix into a protein shake. I sometimes will do prunes or dates but they are higher in sugars than what I want to eat regularly. I've also allowed more veggies back into my diet to help things along.

This happened to me when I started my diet as well. I went regularly everyday eating junk then was going every other day if I was lucky. It kept my weight up I felt bloated even though I had taken in a lot of fibre and was drinking a lot of water as well. The only saving grace for me was and is Sennokot-S at night two tablets and I go every day.
