Yep, having a sandwich for lunch. A delicious peanut butter and jelly, to be exact. I love them, but peanut butter being so many calories, I try to stay away from it. I’d tell you the joke about some jam on a piece of bread, but you might spread it.😊 We went out for a dinner last night, it was suppose to be just drinks. My son, who is older now, is always taking out his depression on me. It can be bad. His father and him don’t talk at all, since my son was disrespectful to his dad, they just don’t talk. Yet, yesterday when my hubby was outside, my son grumbled and mumbled something loud close to him and my husband responded, WHAT DID YOU SAY?! That’s how it all started a huge confrontation. I don’t know my son is so lost and sad he does take it out on others. Maybe they needed that confrontation. I will take prayers for my son’s willingness to get help, from anyone. Prayers are mighty. 👍 After that, I just wanted to get away and have a drink. We ended up having a big Mexican dinner, so now I for sure have to be good this week. An over-eating mouth tortures whole body and over-speaking mouth tortures everybody, so out.🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️ My son is a good soul inside. He doesn’t smoke, drink, or even play video games. He studies, works, and just is miserable all the time. He needs medication to help with his moods. My brother, who is a doctor, does take medication as he has the same chemical imbalance where you see the world horribly depressing every single day. It seems mental illness runs in my family. Which is sort of weird, because my parents weren’t very athletic.🙃 Ave a Marvelous Monday!🌺☀️ Never miss a good chance to shut up.

I have peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on those days I go off my plan. And then it's just a half sandwich. It was so hard to find Smucker's blackberry jam during the covid days so nos I keep at least one jar in the pantry all the time. But the calories and are so much for just one tablespoon that I don't indulge much. Sending prayers for your son

I wouldn’t ever steal the food, but I would throw that away if I found it. But I used to gut the fridge at work as some people are so lazy and don’t get rid of old spoiled food.

Big hugs to you. My eldest son (early 20’s),seems to be still finding himself and struggles to feel the need to grow up and be more independent. It’s not an easy age for anyone and having mental health issues might add to the feeling of finding purpose/happiness within. Hopefully he finds his way soon. I always feel better myself when I exercise!

Morticia it’s true, he’s not really in his right mind. You would think he’d be kissing our butts, instead he’s very insulting because he sees life so horribly bad, and I was some monster that brought him into this world. He used to go get help, but stopped, I can only pray for him to go again. Thank you. 🤗

Eieio1234, no words have ever been more true. The right medication will make him see the world so much better, for his chemistry is off, but how do you get a grown man to go in for therapy to get medication? That’s what I’m praying for.👍

Fritzy, Smuckers, Backberry Jam, I love so much - it is on my Amazon monthly delivery to make sure I always have it. 😋 If I find myself not needing it I just cancel that month’s subscription, but that and peanut butter is something I could live on, but Yep they’re both have a ton of calories.🥺😭 Thank you for the wonderful prayers, the are much needed.😘

I know sometimes it just takes time and like a rhythm where he has his really bad days and really horrible depression, it will calm down where he can deal with it. He never really turns it around, but he gets better with time and then the cycle happens again, so it’s absolutely chemicals that’s blocking his way to any happiness. Even if he wants to get help, we’re living in caveman days, where they don’t exactly know how to fix it yet. Hopefully he’ll go get help and it may help a little bit because life is hard.
Thank you for being a sounding board, as I know my son’s not going through this alone as others are experiencing the same. I wish you happiness, if that can prevail for a bit, actually, it has to in the scheme of things.👍💕

Midgiedawn, I can’t tell you how much I hate people at work that are pigs!!! I can almost forgive the warehouse guys, but the office crew I can’t stand if they’re not cleaning up after themselves! One woman manager is such a lazy person, she has her personal dirty coffee cups staked up on one another on the counter, instead of cleaning them she just brings another one the next day from home stacking it ever higher! I’d like to call out on this behavior, but to her it’s perfectly fine. SHE’S LAZY!!! Lazy is a very strong word. I like to call it “selective participation”. She does that in all her work. She won’t even load paper in the copier- she’ll wait till someone else has to print.😖 Sorry, through ranting. 😁 It’s a sore subject for me. I guess she’s not lazy, she just really enjoys doing nothing!!! 😆
