I ate a couple of satisfying meals yesterday since I knew I could only have "clear liquids" today. Bacon & eggs with toast & fruit for breakfast. And chicken breast with mushrooms & broccoli in a sour cream, butter & parmesan sauce & rice pilaf for dinner. I was so full after dinner I didn't want dessert but I broke my rule of eating latec& had a chocolate chunk cookie around 10.
So today I have had 2 cups of coffee...no cream, a large mug of chicken broth, 1/2 cup of lemon jello and a Lime Outshine bar. I haven't felt especially hungry. Now I'm in the process of drinking 64 oz. of Lemon Lime Gatorade mixed with Miralax. That's harder than not eating. 😳
I don't anticipate any issues tomorrow. I've had a colonoscopy before. Usually we go out for a nice breakfast afterwards 😊
Hubby just left for the afternoon walk with the dogs but I'm sitting this one out. I've actually been watching episodes of Law & Order Organized Crime & SVU this afternoon and reading magazines. We have had rain off & on but it's stopped for now.
I have some gardening I want to do...cut back the Blackeyed Susans in the side garden & clean up the gardens a little. I think we have nice weather forecast so I can get it done.
Wednesday is Book Club. Our Hostess is serving Chili & Caesar Salad. I'm planning to make corn casserole to bring.
