I have struggled with my weight for 24 years since the birth of my son. Twice I lost almost 50 pounds and swore each time that “I’ll never gain that back!” Well, guess what, never say never! Once again, I’m starting the weight loss journey. I joke with my friends that I’m just as wide as I am tall since I am only 5’2” but it is really no joking matter. I’m praying this time that I can stay motivated to reach my goal! Baby steps…with the help of friends.

September 2011 ... Still struggling but I'm back and mentally engaged to tackle my weight.

September 2015 ... Where do the years go? Still struggling! But, I'm here again! A step in the right direction!

I’m sure I’ve started other times and neglected to comment...

March 2021 ... I’m back...again! My son is now 36 and I’m still struggling with my weight. It’s not his fault but that’s how long I’ve struggled. I can get relatively close and it’s like some switch goes off and I sabotage myself. Well, this time, I’m really going to work on it. Plus my hubby is also on a weight loss journey so that’s helpful.

Upcoming milestones to provide additional incentive:

40th wedding anniversary
70th Birthday
Granddaughter’s first birthday

So, here I go!

how do I use this APP
I wish I could help but I’m challenged as well. I’ve been a member for quite awhile but since my recent return, I use a different device now and find the APP more challenging than the laptop I use to use. Good luck! I keep poking around...maybe I will figure it out. Folks have been helpful in the past!

Hi July 28! I'm 64 and had had metabolism issues for years. (I suffer from hypothyroidism and have been on Meds since 1995.) Good luck with the challenge and increasing your steps! I hope that is your answer!

I am 5'2" ... The weight does come off but slow for me. Just keep focused and plugging away ... You feel so much better!! Best of luck in 2012!
