Yesterday morning, my hubby, felt great!😊
I was ready to go to work, came back in from the car, for my coffee and water for the day, and heard a rumbling. It was my hubby in the front room and he couldn’t breath, he was scared, so off to the hospital we went.

I was scolded by the nurse for not using an ambulance. I know my hubby and after a million years of dealing with his asthma, I knew he was getting oxygen, just not enough, but knew he’d survived a trip to a hospital that is in Orange County. An ambulance would have taken him to a hospital down the block, he may have truly not make it out there alive! 😠
Plus, after she was being told he just can’t get enough air, she just nodded and let him sit there outside for a long time. So go figure!!🙃

Hospital triage was being done outside because of Covid. They’re always very attentive there, so they must be use to patients having difficulty breathing. So that may be why everyone was just saying yes, we hear you, he can’t breathe, and your point?😒

Al, my hubby told me not to bring his cellphone, but the nurse told me he really needs it, plus make sure it is charged, so I had to go home and get it, the hospital is about 10 miles away with traffic a 30 min drive round trip.
He was in the ER when I got back. Being outside, the nurse stopped what she was doing and brought his cell to him right then and there. Remarkable, I love that hospital!!!❤️

He was admitted, and they are keeping him for a day or two, he asked for the recharger, I told him I was told to have the phone fully charge so I thought that meant not to bring a charger! 🥴 Now, another trip to the hospital and I can’t even see him or go inside.😒
When I brought it back, his assigned nurse came out to get it, how can a hospital be so good like that?💕 I know the hospital by us would have thrown it in a bin and it would never be seen again.

Long long story short, they say he looks great and they have put him on steroids, plus low oxygen and they are keeping him a day or two. 😊
Going to the hospital three times, plus the bit of worrying it causes, helps with weight loss, but don’t try it, not worth it.
We used a new Covid vaccine delivered via an audio interface as music. It is hoped that this will lead to heard immunity, it didn’t work.🤨😄
Have a Terrific Tuesday!🌺

Shrewdness how is hubby doing tonight. Stable or better I hope. How are YOU doing.. Remember to put the oxygen on yourself first. Easier said than done, I know.

D it must have been scary for him, and I must be a loving wife, as you say, as it is the first time ever he keeps texting me he loves me.🙃 We both came from families that don’t show affection so we were a perfect match. We know we love each other, but rarely kiss goodbye or say that we love each other as we both were raised like that. A new era and new ways, that I think are better anyway.👍❤️

Katsolo, thank you. I am glad along with the Pneumonologist, that we got to the hospital when we did. I feel great, but I think I will get tested, maybe tomorrow if I can. You be safe too. 👍🌺💕

He is better Br_e_co, but the guy that shares the room with him is bad off. 🙁 So hopefully, they can fix that guy too.😊

Becky, he wouldn’t eat with me here, but he is eating his hospital food, so right there it will help him get stronger. Hope your feeling well too. 💕🌺

Jimmie, thank you for your good wishes, and that hospital is so good, they won’t let him come home unless he is fully charged up and ready to go.👍 Thank goodness!

Thank you Happy2liv, we are always punning each other.😁 Unfortunately, his milk carton at the hospital has puns on it, so I have been getting texted pictures of it 3xs a day. 🥴 😁

Morgan, you are much appreciated!!! My husband had asthma since he was a little kid. He would sit up nights and not complain at all. But, boy, give him a sore throat and he whines and whines!🙃😁 Glad you don’t suffer from that much anymore.👍

Melissa, I am shocked he has to be there for four more days, I guess he really had it worse than we both thought. The guy next to him has it bad, and is coughing continuously., poor guy!!! Scary, glad you’re clear to go on your vacation. 👏👏👏👍🌺💕

Please Gastropod, keep him in your prayers, he is a great guy and doesn’t deserve to suffer. He seems to be doing OK, but I think his lungs are messed up to a bigger degree than I thought. 😔 Yet, he is well enough to be sending me pretty funny stuff about the nurses and what not. Stay masked up, and remember, viruses can easily get through the mask, so make sure you stay 6 ft away. The virus is one of the heavier ones and doesn’t drift in the air, and doesn’t go far at all, but now it is an easier one to catch, so please please stay away from people right now, especially since your asthmatic, blessings!😊

I am glad that he is feeling better. I second Kat’s suggestion --get tested.

Love reading your posts Erq!💕 When I was studying viruses I was in a class where we are right there being taught the right way to work with virulent viruses and constantly saw people doing things incorrectly. I know these same people graduate and go out there, so really one always has to be aware and take care. You are very wise!👍🌺

Petra, there’s two great hospitals that I love out here, that are up to date and compassionate, and have great personnel. Both area little bit away, but worth the drive, unfortunately the one next to us is worthless! 🙃 Yet, so blessed with the one he’s in. 👍💕🌺
