** Note....these are not full size brats....they're hot dog size. That's why I ate 2...with buns & all the toppings 😀

Peg, one brat & bun is 310 calories (not counting toppings). If I was in weight loss mode instead of maintenance I might eat just 1 brat with bun and bulk up my meal with some baby carrots, tomato slices or something similar. The chowder was 1 cup. The meal was just under 1000 calories.

Peg, I have been posting my meals since I started my weight loss journey in July 2019. The way I eat, CICO, is proof you can lose & maintain eating REAL food. I don't exclude any foods I like, totally. I do still count calories after achieving my goal in March 2020. I have played around in the kitchen, adapting recipes to be lower calorie and retain their flavor. Moderation has become my moto 😊
