The past month was punch in the gut when I dusted off my scale and jumped on to see 192 lbs. I was only ever that much in full uniform with all my duty gear on. :(

I was sad, mad, and motivated all at the same time. Work, life, and the pandemic was a perfect storm for my weight gain. I stopped going on runs, walks, or even gyms because of the hate I would receive from the public due to my job. I had to even move due to my family being threatened, and our vehicles broken into. I was always on alert, never slept well, ate terrible food and was just overall not happy.

Moved to a new area where people actually showed me not everyone hates LEO's (good LEO's, the bad ones can f*** right off and turn in their badge). Started to walk and be outside more again. Still not hitting the gym due to Covid 19, and people not wearing masks at my gym. Their choice to not wear one, so I'll choose to not go, I'm not mad, just not my thing.

Began to eat chicken, rice and broccoli thinking it would help lose weight....blah :( Made me sick, and I hated eating.

Looked into a few things online and found the anabolic lifestyle watching Coach Gregg Doucette, and Remington James. I fell in love with the concept of eating what I want with nothing off limits as long as I hit my protein amounts and meet or sit below my daily calories. It's only been 2 weeks-ish since I've began actually logging everything I eat. Even if though sometimes I don't log it here I'm writing it down at home. This is not the perfect way of eating I'm sure, but it's melting away that dad bod LOL.

I love cooking and eating my delicious meals again! I'm losing weight, without really working out. I've done a few cardio workouts but nothing big. Just eating better, and having fun in the kitchen. I'm excited to eat again :)
No more having just grilled chicken, rice and broccoli and salads. I don't even have cravings for anything, no cheat meals or anything. Well...I guess you could say my cheat meals are when I don't use my food scale lol. That doesn't happen often though since I enjoy using it.

I didn't have time this morning to create a masterpiece so I'm stuck with non fat Greek yogurt, pecans, and honey. :( I miss my pancakes, and French toast. lol

Oh Jay, I read a post you left and had to look up who this great guy was. Lo and behold It was law enforcement!! I want to thank you and send you all the blessings possible!!💕 I will say a prayer for you nightly as these times are so horrible for you. 😞 Also, it sounds like you found your plan that works for you. 👍 I found a plan too, so after calories eaten today, I came home to my husband’s surprise meal of a huge hot dog, potatoes, and ice cream. NOT POSTING THAT! Tomorrow will be only some protein. Again, I thank you for all the hard and stressful crap you have to deal with daily. Enjoy your night!😊
