Maintenance Calorie Trajectory ---> Week 32 ---> 8 month Maintenance Anniversary

I didn't post last week. Unfortunately, I had to make the difficult decision of going to the emergency vet clinic to put down a dear friend and little buddy of 17 years, named Gino. It's been a challenging and emotional week and I am still adjusting, but am reminded often that at least he is no longer suffering and at peace.

I have hit the 8 month anniversary mark in weight maintenance and am celebrating a few other milestones. Tank tops were always out of the question most of this girl's life. I was always self conscious of my arms and just never felt I had the figure to wear one.

A month or so ago, my mother convinced me to purchase a few. She genuinely felt I needed to put that old story aside and rock a dang tank top! Can, I just say I LOVE IT!

I have a faulty thermostat due to the MS and where one of the lesions in my brain is located. As a result, I can heat up at the drop of a pin and of course the minute I heat up, the muscles in my legs become stiff and the numbness increases. These tops keep me so cool and for the first time in my whole life, I feel genuinely comfortable wearing one.

It's a definite "why" to keep going.

I'm still maintaining between 135-137 lbs, which is absolutely okay. Mama took some pics of me with the cannon today so I put on make up. The HSM community is going to feature me in one of their monthly newsletters, but I couldn't help but catch a selfie of today's body in the tank top. It feels so good when that breeze hits these shoulders. I can't believe I waited so long to wear one.

Anyhow, I wish you all a blessed and beautiful week. Until next weekend - take care and be kind to yourselves

Hugs & Love

Good for you. MS is tough. My sister’s (technically half- sister— her dad died a week before she was born) biological family is riddled with MS. She has all the symptoms but testing comes back negative. I have been managing her care for 30 years, so I know how it is. You are doing very well indeed and you look great.

Your mother was so right. You are rocking that tank top. You are definitely my new hero. MS and weight maintenance; continued success on two fronts, amazing. ❤️

I’m sorry for the loss of your little Gino. I lost my kitty on Sunday. I got her at three weeks old and bottle-fed her, and she died in my arms at 23 years old. You look absolutely fabulous. I just started this program and I’ve lost 10 pounds in two weeks.
