Directions
- Peel the apples and pears.
- Add a very small amount of water to a saucepan.
- Cook in saucepan till both fruits are soft
- Puree till smooth.
- Serve chilled.

You could also add some cinnamon. Sounds great!

This looks good, but it's more of a "sauce" than a compote--compotes usually have pieces of fruit in a syrup.
