what is your favorite low carb fruit ??
I like to take berries, add a t. of splenda, puree them in a blender and put over the mock french toast (see kitchen part of site) A little whipped cream and you have relief from breakfast boredom. Perhaps not great for induction, but a permissible cheat when you just have to cheat.

Can you afford to be skinny?
I made stuffed peppers the other day without the rice and they were just fine. I use the same stuffing for stuffed peppers and cabbage so I don't know why this wouldn't work with cabbage rolls. When I make my mix, I use a proportion of 2/3 hamburger, 1/3 sausage, and a little lo-carb spaghetti sauce. This mixture also work great for recipe on this site for lasagna using zucchini instead of noodles. I just make a big batch of the meat mix and freeze it in proportions then I can decide what to do with it for dinner on the day I take it out of the freezer.

Why has my weight loss stopped after the 3rd week? -- Explaining the Weight Loss Pattern on Atkins
I had a friend who used to work in a spa and she told me that sometimes your body pulls the fat, but it floats in the bloodstream for a few days until it is flushed out. Therefore, the scale is not going to relect the loss, though it has occurred. I think the key is plenty of water to get that fat flushed out of there.

looking for a diet buddy with similar stats/goals
Hey, choth, you can count me in. I'm 5'1" and am about 183. I have tried this before. I believe everytime I try, I get a little closer to the truth about how to win this battle. I believe the same for you. Let's battle the blaze together and pray for God to shift the wind and send the rain on our behalf.

BusinessWeek: It's Best to Weigh Yourself Every Day!
I think I'm going to put my scales in the shed and weigh once a week. I, too, get too discouraged during the fluctuations. The scales should not be our only measure of what is happening in our bodies. I totally disagree with weighing daily unless perhaps you are not overweight and it serves as a deterrent.
