Hey. I'm 27, female, 5"8.5' and weight 273 lbs. with about 55% body fat. I'm hoping to get down to between 140-160 lbs.

I'm looking for someone with similar goals and a similar weight/body size. I'm fine with friend thinner or heavier, but would just like to find some people whose weight-loss goals more mirror mine and I think starting weight is a big factor in that-- how much you lose, how quickly you lose it, etc.

Meredith, I started at 231 when I went on here but I was as heavy as 265. I am doing the fat smasher diet and have lost 17 up to this point on this diet. I am 5'9" and 33 I am a mother of 2 very active boys and since the babies have not been able to take off the weight. My goal is 165. I would love to have you as a diet buddy. I believe the more people you have standing behind you the more likely it is to make your goals. Yeh for you for doing this. I know you struggles and I know the heartache of stepping on the scale and it going higher not lower.

Sounds like we are in a similar boat weight-wise, you have a little leg up on me, but yeah. I will add you as a friend. Thanks for the encouragement. I feel like this time is really the time for me. I feel like I have a lot more riding on losing weight than I used to.

Good for you for losing the weight! Keep at it!

Sounds like everyone is doing good. I'm just getting started for the 900th time. I'm not getting any younger so I've got to keep trying. This is my first time on this site, a newby so I'm not really sure what I'm doing but I know I need to start and I hope I can get in on the buddy list and support each other. I'm 200lbs and almost 48 years old.

Hey, choth, you can count me in. I'm 5'1" and am about 183. I have tried this before. I believe everytime I try, I get a little closer to the truth about how to win this battle. I believe the same for you. Let's battle the blaze together and pray for God to shift the wind and send the rain on our behalf.
