I'm looking for someone with similar goals and a similar weight/body size. I'm fine with friend thinner or heavier, but would just like to find some people whose weight-loss goals more mirror mine and I think starting weight is a big factor in that-- how much you lose, how quickly you lose it, etc.

Meredith, I started at 231 when I went on here but I was as heavy as 265. I am doing the fat smasher diet and have lost 17 up to this point on this diet. I am 5'9" and 33 I am a mother of 2 very active boys and since the babies have not been able to take off the weight. My goal is 165. I would love to have you as a diet buddy. I believe the more people you have standing behind you the more likely it is to make your goals. Yeh for you for doing this. I know you struggles and I know the heartache of stepping on the scale and it going higher not lower.

Might your local chemist have scales you could weigh yourself on? Or perhaps your local gym? You might have to pay to use them, but probably not much.
